This is a dressing that I copied from Danielle M at Allrecipes.com.
A lot of the reviewers stated that they thought this vinaigrette was too tart, or too oily, but when it is mixed with the feta cheese, kalamata olives, and the rest of the salad ingredients, is when it really shines!
I made a few minor changes, (like switching fresh minced garlic for the garlic powder), but pretty much just made it as written.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 tsp dried oregano
- 3/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
Directions
- Put all ingredients in a jar
- Shake the daylights out of it
- Pour on salad and mix gently
- Cover salad and let it marinade in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
