Directions

  1. In saucepan combine molasses, sugar, shortening and butter and soda; bring to a boil, then cold. Add in Large eggs, ginger, cinnamon, salt and sufficient flour to create stiff dough. Roll 1/4 inch thick; cut in desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 min.
