Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 c. melted shortening, cooled
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl and set aside. Cream together sugar and shortening. Add in egg. Mix well. Combine molasses and lowfat milk and add in alternately with flour mix to shortening mix. Blend well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
