Ingredients

  • 1 basket of Mission figs
  • 1 and 1/2 Tbs of Fig Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 Tbs of olive oil
  • 1 finely chopped shallot
  • 1 tsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 round of Bucheron cheese
  • lettuce for salad
  • Kosher salt

    Hi Kathy:
    This fig salad sounds wonderful. Figs are in season here in the Bay Area in the farmers markets and some stores now. Since we attend various wine club events in the Sonoma area checking out Sonoma Harvest sounds worthwhile. Their website has some interesting offerings. I have added the recipe to my Try Soon folder.
