Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 lb grnd beef
- 4 slc bacon, cut lengthwise
- 1 lrg onion, minced
- Â Â salt and pepper to taste
- 16 ounce tomato sauce
- 1 x 28 ounce can tomatoes, liquid removed, chpd
- Â Â juice reserved
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb elbow spaghetti, cooked
- Â Â (macaroni)
Directions
- Brown and drain hamburger. Lightly cook bacon; retain fat and cook onions till transparent. Salt and pepper hamburger to taste. Add in bacon, onion, tomatoes and juice, tomato sauce, and sugar to hamburger. Simmer 30 min.
- Add in cooked spaghetti. Put into large, greased casserole and bake 1 hour at 350F.
