Ingredients

  • We tend to eat a lot of spaghetti in this
  • house and it's fun to play with that by adding sliced zucchini, onions,
  • mushrooms, or whatever sounds good at the moment. But the bread really can make
  • the meal. These are so easy it's worth the time it takes, even if it isn't that
  • long for bread. I've seen recipes for garlic knots where they rise twice and
  • the whole thing takes several hours. We love garlic a lot and buy it minced in
  • the big jars, you know the ones. They are the ones you see in the store and say
  • "who would eat all of that garlic!". Umm...it's us :). This recipe
  • uses garlic powder though, or technically garlic salt. If you don't have garlic
  • salt (like me) you can also mix together 2 parts salt to one part garlic powder
  • and there. you. go. Yes, it is that easy :) Who knew...
  • I sort of forgot to sprinkle the parmesan
  • cheese on these and they were still so delicious I'm posting them and telling
  • you that you may want to try them with the parm. Maybe sprinkle half of them
  • with the garlic and parm and half with just the garlic, if that's how you like
  • it. That's what I would have done if I would have remembered. Even if you have
  • the fear of the yeast this is a great starter recipe that is quick, easy, and
  • doesn't even require a mixer. So go they them out and come back to let me know
  • what you think. Happy Baking!
