G.'S Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound peeled shrimps
  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 pound ham (sliced 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1/4 c. green onions (shallots)
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 6 Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • Red pepper (cayenne)
  • Tony Chachere's Seasoning (optional but preferred)

Directions

  1. Cook rice thoroughly. Dice ham and shrimp into small pcs. Cook ham and shrimp together in 1/3 c. of water. Add in butter and soy sauce to the shrimp and ham mix. Add in red pepper and Tony Chachere's seasoning to taste. Fry Large eggs together with green onions. Add in Large eggs and rice to the ham mix and mix thoroughly.
