Ingredients
- 1 pound Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 c. or possibly 8 ounce caramel sauce
- 2 c. minced nuts
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Put together crumbs and butter. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread softened ice cream over crust. Freeze. Then pour caramel sauce over top ice cream. If necessary heat sauce to pouring consistency. Sprinkle nuts. Freeze. Put powdered sugar, lowfat milk and chips in bowl in microwave. Heat till boiling, stirring often. Add in vanilla. Chill till cool. Then pour on top of ice cream. Freeze about 4 hrs. Put in refrigerator about 5 min before serving.
