Ingredients
- 225 gm punnet of blackcurrants
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
Directions
- Pull the fruit off their stalks.
- Drop the fruit into a stainless steel saucepan then pour in a couple of Tbsp. of water.
- Bring to the boil turn down the heat and cook gently for 5 or possibly 6 min till the juices have started to run from the fruit.
- Add in the sugar.
- Serve hot or possibly chilled with vanilla ice cream.
- Sufficient for 4
