Ingredients

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 stk butter/margarine
  • 4 c. Flour
  • 8 x Large eggs
  • 1 x Glass grape jelly
  • 1 c. Grape juice
  • 2 tsp Allspice
  • 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 lb Crystallized cherries
  • 1 lb Crystallized pineapple
  • 1 lb Mixed fruits

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and butter well. Add in yolks of Large eggs, one at a time. Add in spice, add in jelly, and add in juice. Add in flour plus fruits. Mix in whites of Large eggs.
  2. Will bake in 3 pans 2 hrs at 270 degrees F. Can decorate with nuts and fruits if you like.
