  1. Cream together thoroughly Crisco, butter, salt and 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar. Add in alternately 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar and liquid removed, crushed pineapple. Beat till creamy. It is a good idea to let the frosting set for a while till the powdered sugar absorbs the juice from the pineapple.
