Directions

  1. Cream butter; gradually add in brown sugar, beating well. Add in large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pumpkin and flavorings.Put together flour, baking pwdr, salt, and pumpkin pie spice, 2" apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 min. Cool cookies on wire racks. Frost with Maple Frosting. Yield: about 7 1/2 dozen.
  2. Cream butter; gradually add in 1 cup powdered sugar, beating well with electric mixer. Add in remaining sugar alternately with lowfat milk, beating till smooth sufficient to spread. Add in maple extract, and beat well. Yield: sufficient for 7 1/2 dozen cookies.
