  • 1 pkt small shell pasta - (16 ounce)
  • 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp seasoned pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 x garlic clove pressed
  • 3/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 c. minced fresh basil
  • 1 pkt shredded Parmesan cheese - (3 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. toasted pine nuts Gourmet mixed baby salad greens Grape tomatoes Yellow pear-shaped tomatoes - (small)

Directions

  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. Whisk together vinegar and next 5 ingredients. Gradually whisk in extra virgin olive oil.
  3. Add in vinaigrette to pasta. Add in basil, cheese, and pine nuts; toss to combine. Garnish, if you like.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
