Directions

  1. From Frzn Delights by Linda Burum Combine 3/4 c. water and the sugar and cook, stirring, till sugar dissolves; cold. Combine the remaining water, lime juice, lemon juice and egg white. Add in the sugar syrup; chill. Freeze according to the instructions for your ice cream maker. Transfer to freezer containers for storage.

    The water is not in the list of ingredients. You are instructed to use 3/4 cup of water in the simple syrup, then add "the rest" of the water..... How much water do you start with?
