Ingredients
- 15 ounce Kidney Beans, Liquid removed
- 4 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1/3 c. Water
- 1 x Clove Garlic, Crushed
- 1/4 tsp Chili Pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper Vegetable Oil, For Frying Grated Cheddar Cheese, Optional
Directions
- Combine well-liquid removed beans, flour, 1 tbsp oil, water, garlic, chili pwdr, salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend till smooth. Heat skillet; brush with oil. Spoon 1/4 c. batter at a time, spreading into a circle about 4" in diameter. Cook over medium heat till brown on bottom and dry on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, if you like. Remove from griddle. Serve hot.
