French Burnt Peanuts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Raw peanuts
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Maple flavoring

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Put all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil till all liquid is gone. (Stir occasionally at first then constantly). Remove from heat. Spread over geased jelly roll pan. Put in preheated oven for 15 min. Stir peanuts and bake another 15 min.
  2. Cold. Store in glass container.
  3. Makes 2 c..
