Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 2 c. apples, pared, cored & finely minced
- 1 3/4 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 c. French bread cubes
- 1/2 c. raisins (opt.)
- Whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat large eggs; add in sweetened condensed lowfat milk, apples, water, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in bread and raisins, completely moistening. Put into a buttered 9" baking pan. Bake 1 hour or possibly till hard. Cool. Serve warm with whipped cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
