Freeze And Bake Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 c. sliced peaches
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 x 9 inch pie crust

Directions

  1. Using favorite double pie crust for 9-inch pan, mix together all ingredients except butter. Fill bottom crust. Dot peach mix with the butter. Top with remaining crust. Crimp edges, but don't cut vents. To freeze, cover with plastic wrap, then foil. This can be frzn for up to 12 months. To bake, cut vents in top of frzn pie and bake (from frzn) at 425F for 45 min, then 30 min at 350F or possibly till filling bubbles and crust is brown. Cold one hour, then serve.
