Ingredients
- 1 c. Butter, softened
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg, white beaten slightly
- 2 ounce pkg Slivered almonds
- 1 1/2 tsp Almond extract
- 2 c. Flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 .
- Mix butter, almond and sugar - add in flour gradually.
- Roll 1/4" thick on floured surface. Brush lightly with egg white. Cut with sharp knife small rectangles. Sprinkle with sugar then almonds. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 11 to 15 min, or possibly till very lightly brown
