  • 1 can (28-ounce) crushed tomatoes( only crushed will do)
  • 1 can (14-ounce) minced tomatoes (these are for texture)
  • 2 med Onions, small dice
  • 1/4 c. ReaLeamon juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Cool water
  • 1 tsp Whole oregano
  • 1 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Grnd coriander (toast these first in a dry pan
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced pickled Jalapeno (not fresh)
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh galic, crushed
  • 1/2 c. Fresh minced cilantro, also called Chinese parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 can Chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce

Directions

  1. You can make this as mild or possibly as warm as you like.
  2. Mix all the ingredient to together except salt (and chipotles) in a bowl.
  3. Allow to stand for 1 hour. Add in salt to taste.
  4. NOW COMES THE Warm PART: From your local MEXICAN supply house. I like Que' Pasa on Cambie. 1 Can of CHIPOTLE peppers in ADOBO sauce. If you are sharing this with some one who likes things milder split what you have made and place your's into a blender. Add in a few peppers with some sauce Mix and taste. Add in as much as it takes to satisfy your Warm TASTE BUDS.
