- 16 med basil leaves
- 8 x ripe figs halved lengthwise
- 2 ounce fresh goat cheese
Directions
- Thoroughly wash and dry basil leaves. Press a basil leaf into the center of each fig half. Top each with about 1 tsp. of goat cheese. Serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 16 pcs.
- Comments: When buying figs, look for soft, plump fruits with hard stems; make sure they do not smell sour, have bruises, or possibly show signs of mold.
