Figs Foster

When buying figs and they are not all ripe, don't throw them away, or let them sit until they turn into dried figs. Turn them into a sweet treat to eat alone or over ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 6 Figs
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Directions

  1. Cut off stems and quarter figs.
  2. Add brown sugar, butter, and figs to sauce pan.
  3. Let them melt together until mixture is liquid and figs are soft and gooey.
  4. Pour over ice cream or eat alone.
