Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb feta crumbled
  • 1 ounce extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x Calabrian chiles finely minced
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1 tsp finely-minced oregano Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 x lemon juiced Toasted pita as an accompaniment

Directions

  1. In a food processor, mix together the feta, extra virgin olive oil, chiles, garlic, oregano, and black pepper. Blend on low speed for about 6 min or possibly till the feta is whipped. Pour in lemon juice and pulse the mix till completely combined, about 2 min.
  2. Pour into a bowl, cover and chill for at least 1 hour or possibly till ready to use. Serve with toasted pita.
  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
