Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. 7-Up
- 1/4 c. buttermilk (or possibly make your own)
- 2 c. baking mix (Bisquick) (make your own)
- 2 Tbsp. butter melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
- Mix first three ingredients together into a smooth dough. Coat hands with a little baking mix and knead the dough briefly, right in the bowl, till smooth and elastic. Divide dough into six equal pcs and shape into patties about 1 inch thick. Place one in the center of the prepared pan and arrange the others around it. Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake 18 to 20 min, or possibly till golden brown and tripled in size. Let cold in pan 10 min before serving.
- NOTES : This simple recipe with only four ingredients duplicates the big, fluffy biscuits popular at fast food chains.
