1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cocoa (dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water)
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking pwdr
3 c. flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Cream butter and sugar; add in buttermilk and cocoa mix; mix well. Combine soda, baking pwdr and flour, gradually add in to cream mix. Add in vanilla. Bake in layer pans at 350 degrees.
