Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients 4 times, except salt. Beat egg whites and water to make 1 c. with cream of tartar and salt till stiff. Beat in flavorings. Mix in flour and sugar mix very gently. Turn into ungreased tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cake from oven and rest pan on a funnel upside down till cold.
