Ingredients

  • 1 x Recipe Cream Puff, see Recipe
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Gelatin Pwdr, unflavored
  • 2 c. Egg Nog
  • 1 c. Whipping Cream Powdered Sugar, optional Chocolate Fudge Sauce, optional

Directions

  1. Combine the cornstarch, sugar and gelatin in a glass or possibly enamel saucepan.
  2. Gradually stir in the egg nog. Blend till smooth before heating.
  3. Cook gently, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and boils. Cold, stirring mix frequently to prevent a "skin" from forming.
  4. When eggnog mix is cooled completely, beat it till smooth.
  5. Whip the cream till stiff and fold into egg nog mix.
  6. Fill 12 large cream puff shells. Top with a frosting of chocolate sauce and chill; or possibly chill and sift powdered sugar over just before serving.
