Ingredients
- 3 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 pound round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 env. dry onion soup mix
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
Directions
- Note: Meat should be at room temperature before starting.
- Pour oil in 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Place in oven at 400 degrees. While this heats, lb. 2 Tbsp. flour into each side of steak.
- Place in heated oil, turn to coat both sides, sprinkle on soup mix. Pour tomato sauce mixed with water over all. Cover tightly. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs.
