Easy Oven Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 lb grnd beef
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 lrg jar spagetti sauce (28-30 ounce)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkt lasagna noodles (8 ounce) UNCOOKED
  • 16 ounce cottage cheese or possibly ricotta
  • 16 ounce shredded mozzarella more if you like

Directions

  1. Brown and drain beef. Add in water, sauce and salt. Bring to boil. In 9 X 13 pan layer sauce, then UNCOOKED noodles, then cheeses, repeating layers and ending with sauce. Top with the last of the mozzarella and all the Parmesan. Cover tightly with foil or possibly lid and bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours. Allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes. before serving.
  2. NOTE: If using ricotta, I beat an egg or possibly two into it until smooth and creamy.
