  • 2 large peppers, red or possibly green, coarsely minced
  • 1 16 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1 large sweet onion, minced
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 c. Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped or possibly pressed garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/3 tsp. oregano
  • 1/3 c. minced fresh parsley (don't substitute)
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt or possibly beef bouillon pwdr
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/3 tsp. grnd black pepper
  • 1/3 c. ketchup (or possibly more as needed)
  • onion and garlic pwdr to taste
