Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Large eggs, well beaten
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 6 c. flour (self rising) or possibly you can use
- 6 c. 50/50 wheat flour
Directions
- Mix sugar, Crisco and salt together. Pour boiling over this mix, then beat in Large eggs. Add in lukewarm water with yeast dissolved in it. Then add in flour, mix; cover and chill for at least 2 hrs. Roll out like pie crust. Brush well with butter and roll up. Slice 1" thick and place in Pam sprayed muffin pans. Makes 3 dozen. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min. Dough can be kept in refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. To make cinnamon rolls sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mix on top of butter before rolling up.
