Easy Homemade Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 (14 ounce.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 4 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. coarsely minced Oreo cookies
  • 2 c. (1 pt.) whipping cream, whipped (don't use whipped topping)

Directions

  1. In large bowl, beat egg yolks; stir in condensed lowfat milk, water and vanilla. Mix in cookies and whipping cream. Pour into aluminum foil lined 9"x5" loaf pan or possibly other 2 qt container. Cover; freeze 6 hrs or possibly till hard. Scoop ice cream from pan or possibly peel off foil and slice. Return leftovers to freezer. Makes about 1 1/2 qts.
