Ingredients
- 6 "meaty" chicken breasts or possibly legs
- 12 to 16 sm. whole white onions, peeled - or possibly a jar of onions (10 to 12)
- 4 or possibly 5 carrots
- 1/4 c. red cooking wine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 pound Cheddar cheese, freshly grated
Directions
- Place chicken in baking dish - add in onions. Peel carrots, slice thin and add in. Mix soup and wine - pour over chicken. Grate cheese over top. Chill till ready to bake. Then place in 350 degree oven - covered for 45 min. Uncover and continue baking for 35 to 45 min more.
