  • 6 ounce. (1 1/2 c.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Dash pepper (optional)
  • 8 ounce. can Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seed (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine cheese, lowfat milk, mustard, and pepper. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Press 2 rectangles over bottom of ungreased 8 or possibly 9 inch square pan. Spread half cheese mix over dough. Place remaining 2 rectangles over cheese; gently stretch to cover. Spread with remaining cheese mix; sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 min till golden. Cut into 6 squares. Serve hot. Makes 6 sandwiches.
