  • 6 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 1/2 tsp Sesame seed
  • 8 ounce Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 6 ounce Pitted ripe olives, liquid removed
  • 1 c. Tomato, finely minced
  • 3/4 c. Parmesan or possibly Romano cheese blend, grated

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Brush large cookie sheet with 1 tsp. of the oil; sprinkle proportionately with 2 tsp. of the sesame seed. Unroll dough; place over sesame seed, firmly pressing perforations to seal. Press to create 15x12-inch rectangle. Brush dough with 2 tsp. of the oil; sprinkle proportionately with remaining sesame seed. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 min.
  2. Meanwhile in food processor bowl with metal blade or possibly blender container, combine olives and remaining 3 tsp. extra virgin olive oil. Process till olives are finely minced. Spread olive mix over partially baked crust. Top with tomato and cheese. Bake an additional 5 to 7 min or possibly till edges are golden. Cut into rectangles. Serve hot.
