Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 can of 10 buttermilk biscuits
  • Sliced tart apples

Directions

  1. Put first 3 ingredients in 9"x13" pan. Put in 325 degree oven while preparing dumplings. Roll each biscuit to about size of a saucer. Hold in palm of hand. Fill with sliced apples. Healthy pinch together. Set in warm liquid. Dot with b utter. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. sugar and cinnamon. Bake till done. Approximately 1 hour at 325 degrees. Can add in more water if necessary. Serves 10.
