Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread - (16 ounce)
- 1 ct chive-and-onion-flavored cream c (8 ounce)
- 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese - (8 ounce) Red grape halves Blueberries
Directions
- Cut bread slices using a 3- to 4-inch bunny-shaped cookie cutter. Spread 1 side of each bread slice with cream cheese, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Decorate bunny with grape halves for eyes and a blueberry for the nose, if you like.
- This recipe yields about 2 dozen.
- Duck Party Sandwiches: Cut bread slices using a 3- to 4-inch duck-shaped cookie cutter. Spread 1 side of each slice with garden-vegetable cream cheese, and sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese. Decorate duck with olive slices for eyes, if you like.
- Flower Party Sandwiches: Cut bread slices using a 3- to 4-inch flower-shaped cookie cutter. Spread 1 side of each slice with strawberry cream cheese. Decorate flower with a strawberry slice in each petal and a blueberry in the center, if you like.
- Easter Egg Party Sandwiches: Cut bread slices using a 3- to 4-inch egg-shaped cookie cutter. Spread 1 side of each slice with blueberry or possibly strawberry cream cheese. Decorate Easter egg with strawberry slices or possibly blueberries, and pipe with contrasting-colored cream cheese, if you like.
- Yield: 2 dozen
