Ingredients
- 4 lb Shrimp medium, shell,
- Â Â Deveined
- 16 ounce Plain yogurt
- 6 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
- 1Â 1/4 tsp Cayenne
- 1Â 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1Â 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1Â 1/4 tsp Curry pwdr
- 4 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Garlic -- finely chopped
- 2 tsp Ginger root -- chopped
Directions
- Thread shrimp on 8 10 inch skewers and lay on a jelly roll sheet or possibly any pan which will hold them in one layer. Marinate shrimp: In a small bowl, mix all ingredients well and spoon over skewered shrimp, cover completely. Slip into a plastic bag and chill for at least 6 hrs.
- Grill shrimp: Grill skewered shrimp over ashed coals for 3-4 minutes. Turn and continue cooking 3 minutes. more till done. serve immediately with lemon wedges and onion slices.
