Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (pref. whole milk)
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • large saucepan or kettle of hot water
  • Add the hot milk a few tablespoons at a time to ensure that you don’t curdle
