Ingredients
- 150 gm hazelnuts, (shelled)
- 150 gm almonds
- 50 gm sesame seeds
- 50 gm coriander seeds
- 50 gm cumin pwdr
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 50 gm sweet paprika
- 20 gm turmeric
- 4 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 4 tsp sugar Extra Virgin extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius, then put nuts in oven and toast spices with the sesame seeds for 10 min.
- When cool, put all ingredients into a mortar or possibly food processor and grind till the mix is crumbly.
- (Pause between pulses to prevent overheating and therefore oiling up the mix).
- Caramelised Balsamic:Bring balsamic to the boil. Add in sugar. Reduce by half. Let cold.
- Transfer to a small dish. Add in an equal quantity of good quality extra virgin extra virgin olive oil.
