Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. In large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in vanilla and egg white.
  4. Stir in flours, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until set (do not overbake).
  8. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

    The website that I got this recipe from says each cookie has 70 calories per cookie. I think that the calculations do not take into consideration that it has brown sugar, egg whites and whole wheat flour. If they would take them into consideration I think the calories, fat and sugars would be less.
