Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 pound pot roast
  • 1 can stale beer
  • 2 tbsp. onion pwdr
  • 1 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Directions

  1. Heavy pot with cover. Remove most of fat from meat. Brown quickly on both sides. Mix rest of ingredients and add in. Bake covered at least 3 hrs. Add in potatoes and carrots last hour if you like. Slow oven.
