Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 3 lb liver beef or possibly chicken (3 to 3 1/2)
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 jar fresh chopped or possibly crushed garlic (4.25 ounce)
  • 2 c. white flour
  • 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 med shaker of grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. * (I do not have the ounce measure because I tossed out the container after I made the brownies for last weekend's agility trial.)
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover cookie sheet with foil, coat with cooking spray, sprinkle lightly with corn meal and set aside. Process liver and garlic in food processor or possibly blender till it looks like lowfat milk chocolate. Pour into large mixing bowl and blend in the rest of the ingredients. Spread proportionately onto cookie sheet (the mix will be thick) and sprinkle lightly with corn meal. Bake till no pink is left. I usually bake them for about 30 minutes for one pan and then turn the oven off but leave the brownies inside till they are cold. Cut in pcs and be ready to be loved by your dog(s).
  3. NOTES : I have yet to meet a dog which doesn't like SLBs and I think which this is about the greatest bait on earth... Enjoy!!!
  4. The recipe makes a lot of brownies so keep any leftovers (should there be any) in the freezer because they spoil real easy.
