Ingredients

  • 1 kg Okra pods A few celery leaves,
  • 1 x Clove of garlic, peeled _ and split
  • 1 sprg dill
  • 2 slc Pimento
  • 2 2/3 c. water
  • 1 2/3 c. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Salt

Directions

  1. Scrub okra, pack into 4 jars.
  2. In each jar insert the spices.
  3. In a saucepan bring the pickle solution to the boil. Stir well and pour boiling liquid over okra and seal tightly. Let stand 3 weeks before serving.
  4. Note: One small warm refrigeratemay be placed in each jar if you like buying, storing, preparing and cooking. By Vo Bacon"
