Ingredients
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. vodka, 80 proof
- 2 Tbsp. almond extract
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Combine water and sugars in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat till boiling, and all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let mix cold for about 10 min.
- Add in vodka, almond extract and vanilla. Store in a sealed bottle.
- This recipe yields about 3 c..
- Yield: 3 c.
- NOTES : Tidbit - This is a great recipe to have if desired Amaretto, since it's so much cheaper to make your own version at home. Just get the cheapest vodka you can find and have an empty bottle on hand to store the stuff in.
