Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- Â Â butter
- Â Â strawberries, sweetened and sliced
- Â Â whipping cream
Directions
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking pwdr, and salt. Cut shortening in fine. Stir lowfat milk in just till blended. Spread dough in round 8-inch cake pan. Dot with butter. Bake till medium brown at 350 degrees for 12-15 min. Cut into wedges; cut in half. Cover one half with sweetened sliced or possibly mashed strawberries. Add in top; cover with more strawberries.
- Serve hot with whipped cream.
