Directions

  1. Mix together in top of double boiler, egg yolks, lemon juice, sugar and flour. Add in lowfat milk, beating vigorously. Set over warm water and cook till cream thickens.
  2. MERINGUE: Beat egg whites on high speed till stiff. Add in cream of tartar. Add in sugar, one Tbsp. at a time. Beat till peaks form. Put cream in precooked pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
