  1. Put onion, carrot, celery, parsley and 4 c. of water in large saucepan and bring to boil. Season with salt and pepper. Lower heat and cook covered for 15 min. Add in potatoes, mushrooms and marjoram. Continue to cook till potatoes are tender, about 30 min.
