Ingredients

  • 4 Large eggs (or possibly egg substitute)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pie crust, unbaked (optional if you just want custard)

Directions

  1. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min, then at 350 degrees for 30 min. Test for doneness with a knife.
  2. Serves 7.
