Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. applesauce
- 3 tbsp. tomato paste
- 3 to 4 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 3 c. cooked chicken
- Cooked rice
Directions
- Reserve 1 Tbsp. drippings from bacon. Cook celery, onion and garlic in drippings, blend in flour. Add in lowfat milk, applesauce, tomato paste, curry, bouillon cubes and 1 c. water. Cook and stir till thick. Stir in chicken and crumbled bacon. Heat through. Serve over rice.
